We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Assistant to support recruiting and onboarding functions within a collaborative HR team based in Phoenix, AZ. This role is ideal for candidates with at least three years of HR experience who are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and partnering closely with hiring managers and HR team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle recruitment: conduct intake meetings, post job openings, screen applicants, coordinate interviews, and assist with offer logistics
- Collaborate with HR Generalists on employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, status changes, and terminations
- Facilitate onboarding processes: lead orientation sessions, ensure completion of I-9 forms, background checks, and benefits enrollment
- Maintain accurate employee records and assist with payroll documentation and compliance tracking
- Support HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, ADP) and assist employees with access issues
- Conduct audits of personnel files to ensure documentation aligns with company policies
- Communicate with internal stakeholders to coordinate hiring needs, onboarding timelines, and employee transitions
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 3 years of recent HR experience, with a focus on recruiting and onboarding
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
- Understanding of U.S. employment laws and onboarding compliance requirements
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting and onboarding
