Position: Patient Services Representative (PRN)
Location: East Peoria, IL
Pay: $21/hr.
Job Type: Part time
Key Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service by greeting patients with a smile and addressing them warmly upon arrival and departure. Respond to patient inquiries and concerns according to DCA policies. Answer incoming calls professionally and promptly. Schedule, confirm, and follow up on patient appointments. Maintain and update the appointment book. Follow up with patients who miss or cancel appointments. Register patients using the sign-in sheet. Post charges and payments to patient accounts accurately. Check and respond to voicemail messages daily. Keep the waiting area clean, comfortable, and welcoming for patients. Required Skills & Experience: Experience answering telephones. Exceptional customer service skills. Preferred Skills & Experience: Prior experience in a dental, medical, or healthcare office. Familiarity with insurance plans (HMO/PPO) is a plus. Education: Required: High school diploma or GED. Preferred: None specified.
