About the Role
We are looking for a motivated
Interior Assistant Superintendent
to support the day-to-day coordination and supervision of
interior construction activities
on condominium and high-rise residential projects. This role is ideal for someone eager to grow their career in field operations while working on large-scale, high-profile developments.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Lead Superintendent in managing
all interior finishes
(framing, drywall, millwork, flooring, MEP finishes, etc.). Supervise and coordinate daily work of subcontractors to ensure schedules and quality standards are met. Monitor progress against project schedules and report potential delays. Enforce strict compliance with
safety regulations
and site cleanliness. Perform daily site walks and document progress, quality, and issues. Help manage punch list activities, inspections, and project closeout. Maintain accurate field logs, reports, and as-built documentation. Serve as a liaison between the field and office teams, ensuring smooth communication.
Qualifications
35 years of experience
in construction, with at least
2 years focused on interiors
(condominiums, high-rises, or large residential projects preferred). Strong understanding of interior construction sequences, trades, and quality standards. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Proficient with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.) preferred. OSHA 30 certification a plus.
