We are currently seeking a skilled Locum MD (Medical Doctor) specializing in Neurosurgery . Responsibilities:
Performing neurosurgical procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
Assessing and diagnosing patients with neurological disorders.
Developing treatment plans and providing recommendations for patient care.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient management.
Participating in rounds, consultations, and case conferences.
Documenting patient information and treatment plans accurately.
Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in neurosurgery.
Participating in continuous education and training to stay updated on advancements in the field.
Requirements:
Medical degree with specialization in Neurosurgery.
Valid license to practice as a Medical Doctor.
Proven experience as a Neurosurgeon or in a similar role.
Excellent surgical skills and knowledge of neurosurgical techniques.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care.
Level I trauma
Schedule: 8 to 12-hour shifts
Daily Volume: 1-2 emergent surgical cases
Will cover emergent ED cases
Procedures Required: Brain bleed stoppage, clot removal, tumor removal, trauma repair, shunt insertion or revision, spine stabilization and reconstruction, vertebroplasty and kyphoplasty, spinal fusion, laminectomy, and diskectomy
Team Structure: 2 additional neurosurgeons
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
