Accounting Manager (Bilingual)
Now recruiting on behalf of a growing retail company in Atlanta for an Accounting Manager. The company is mid-sized ($200-300M annual revenue) and offers stability, a highly competitive benefits package (including 401k match), and the opportunity to grow and truly make an impact.
Base Pay Range $100,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
Shift the company from cash-based to accrual-based accounting, working closely with the CFO.
Drive process improvements, collaborate with external CPA firm, upgrade systems, train staff, and manage all aspects of the close process.
Focus on GL accounting, month-end close, financial reporting, GAAP compliance, accrual-based accounting, variance analysis, cash reconciliations, internal controls, and working closely with the 12-13 locations on their accounting.
Qualifications
Bachelor's in Accounting (CPA preferred)
Bilingual (fluent in English and Spanish)
5-7+ years of relevant experience
Experience leading accounting staff
Experience with month-end close, accrual-based accounting, GAAP compliance, cash accounting, audit support, journal entries, fixed assets, reconciliations, variance analysis, internal controls, and financial reporting.
Experience with small-mid sized Accounting software and preference given to those who have supported a mid-tier ERP implementation.
Strong relationship building and organizational skills
History of job stability required for consideration.
