ACCOUNTING MANAGER (BILINGUAL)
Now recruiting on behalf of a growing retail company in Atlanta for an Accounting Manager position. The company is mid‑size ($200–300 M annual revenue) and offers stability, a highly competitive benefits package (including a 401(k) match), and the opportunity to grow and make a real impact.
This Accounting Manager will work closely with the CFO to shift the company from cash‑based to accrual‑based accounting. The role will drive process improvements, collaborate with the external CPA firm to transition processes in house, upgrade systems, train staff, and manage all aspects of the close process. The position is largely focused on general‑ledger accounting, month‑end close, financial reporting, GAAP compliance, accrual accounting, variance analysis, cash reconciliations, internal controls, and working with 12–13 company locations on their accounting.
Key Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA preferred)
Bilingual (fluent in English and Spanish)
5–7+ years of relevant experience
Experience leading accounting staff
Experience with month‑end close, accrual‑based accounting, GAAP compliance, cash accounting, audit support, journal entries, fixed assets, reconciliations, variance analysis, internal controls, and financial reporting
Experience with small‑to‑mid‑sized accounting software and preference for those who have supported a mid‑tier ERP implementation
Strong relationship‑building and organizational skills
History of job stability required for consideration
