About the Role We’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented Accountant / Bookkeeper to join our leadership team. This role will be key to strengthening our financial foundation, improving visibility, and helping the company make confident, data‑driven decisions as we continue to expand.
Position Summary This position is responsible for overseeing accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy, and supporting strategic decision‑making through timely and reliable reporting. The ideal candidate brings both technical expertise and operational insight suited for a fast‑growing SaaS organization.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day‑to‑day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
Oversee month‑end and year‑end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements.
Maintain chart of accounts, reconcile balance sheets, and monitor cash flow.
Lead the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
Track performance against budgets and provide variance analysis and recommendations.
Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and growth initiatives.
Internal Controls & Compliance
Establish and maintain effective accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Systems & Process Improvement
Evaluate and enhance accounting systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Support automation and integration of billing, CRM, and reporting tools.
Lead initiatives to scale accounting operations as the company grows.
Supervise accounting staff and third‑party bookkeeping partners as needed.
Collaborate with executive leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations.
Present financial information to non‑financial stakeholders clearly and effectively.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online or equivalent accounting software.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred
Experience with Salesforce, Rev.io, or similar billing and CRM platforms.
Prior leadership experience in a high‑growth or technology‑focused company.
Key Attributes

Able to balance precision with pragmatism in a fast‑moving environment.
Excellent communicator with the ability to convey financial concepts clearly.
