About Us: Artemis Staffing partners with a medical provider that prides itself on accuracy, organization, and reliable financial records. We’re seeking a detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join their team and keep financial operations running smoothly.
Role Overview: As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will oversee all aspects of bookkeeping for a medical institute, including patient billing reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, payroll support, and financial reporting. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can handle sensitive financial and patient information while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and oversee the general ledger and all financial records for the practice.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including patient billing and insurance claims reconciliation.
Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly.
Prepare and generate accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Assist with payroll processing and tax filings, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Ensure adherence to accounting principles and healthcare compliance standards (HIPAA, etc.).
Identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions in financial records.
Collaborate with management to provide financial insights and support budgeting.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting.
Proficiency with accounting and medical billing software (QuickBooks, Xero, Kareo, or similar).
Strong understanding of bookkeeping, accounting principles, and healthcare compliance regulations.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to handle sensitive patient and financial information with confidentiality.
Associate’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
