Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Senior Project Architect to lead the design and execution of complex architectural projects. This role requires a deep understanding of building systems, phased construction methodologies, and collaborative project delivery. The ideal candidate will bring a strong design sensibility, leadership capabilities, and a passion for working on large-scale, multidisciplinary projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead architectural design and documentation efforts for complex projects of varying scale.
Oversee and coordinate phased construction strategies and multiple bid packages.
Collaborate closely with internal teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure seamless project delivery.
Provide technical leadership in the use of REVIT and BIM360, ensuring model integrity and documentation quality.
Guide the integration of complex building systems into cohesive design solutions.
Participate in and contribute to design reviews, client presentations, and project planning sessions.
Support construction administration efforts, including site visits, RFIs, and submittal reviews.
Foster a collaborative team environment and mentor junior staff.
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
Qualifications:
15+ years of professional experience in architecture, focusing on complex building types.
Licensure is required.
Proven expertise in REVIT and BIM360 workflows.
Strong design sensibility and experience with the specific building type relevant to the role.
Demonstrated success managing projects with phased construction and multiple bid packages.
Deep knowledge of complex building systems and coordination across disciplines.
Experience working as a key contributor on large, multidisciplinary project teams.
Excellent communication and leadership skills with a proactive and dynamic approach.
Strong desire and ability to collaborate across teams and disciplines.
Onsite construction administration (CA) experience is highly encouraged.
