Senior Building Automation Field Supervisor
Location: Atlanta, GA Compensation: Up to $170,000 (depending on experience) Employment Type: Full-Time / Permanent About the Role Edison Smart is proud to support a leader in the Building Automation industry in the search for a BAS Field Supervisor based in Atlanta, GA. This is an exciting opportunity for an established BAS Supervisor or a high-level BAS technician who is looking to take the next step in their career into a supervisory and leadership-focused role. The position will be responsible for overseeing field teams, ensuring high‑quality project delivery, and maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction across a range of commercial and industrial automation projects. Key Responsibilities Supervise and support a team of BAS field technicians across multiple ongoing projects. Oversee the installation, programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting of BAS systems (e.g., Tridium Niagara, Johnson Controls, Siemens, Distech, Schneider, etc.). Act as the technical lead and point of escalation for complex field issues. Ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to company and client standards. Coordinate technician scheduling, resource allocation, and project timelines. Conduct site visits, inspections, and quality assurance checks. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure seamless project execution. Mentor and develop junior technicians, supporting their ongoing training and growth. Drive process improvement and operational excellence within the field team. Ideal Candidate 5+ years’ experience in Building Automation Systems (BAS) or HVAC Controls Strong technical foundation as a Senior or Lead BAS Technician, with hands‑on field experience. Previous leadership, team lead, or supervisory experience preferred. Proficiency in one or more major BAS platforms (e.g., Niagara, Metasys, Desigo, Ecostruxure, Distech, Alerton, etc.). Excellent communication and organizational skills. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and mentor others effectively. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally across Atlanta.
