Surgical Technologist (CST), Ambulatory Surgery Center
Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Surgical Tech (CST) to join our Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) teams! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.
Position Summary Be part of our Same Day Surgery Center Team in Maple Grove with occasional travel to other Same Day Surgery Center(s) as needed. We are looking for team members to support our growing services, with opportunities to provide patient care in our Surgery Center(s). We have a fast‑paced multi‑specialty Surgical Center and are seeking candidates with a positive outlook and an ability to work well on a team.
Work Schedule
Casual Position / Day Shift
Variable/flexible Start Times
Variable Shift Lengths
Rotating Late Shifts
Weekends possible in the future
Occasional travel to alternate sites per rotation
Required Qualifications
Must be certified through the following Surgical Technologist Program: CST at time of hire or obtain within 12 months.
Surgical tech experience required (would consider highly motivated new grad).
Practical knowledge of basic surgical instrumentation and equipment of orthopedic surgical procedures.
Demonstrated knowledge of the principles of aseptic technique and sterilization methods.
Demonstrated knowledge of age‑related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients.
Preferred Qualifications
SPD experience preferred – Cross training to Sterile Processing.
Currently validated CPR skills or BLS certification is preferred.
