Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Surgical Tech (CST) to join our Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) teams. Responsibilities

Be part of our Same Day Surgery Center Team in Burnsville with occasional travel to other Same Day Surgery Center(s) as needed. Support growing services, with opportunities to provide patient care in our Surgery Center(s). The Surgical Tech (CST) practices under the direction of a Registered Nurse in an autonomous and collegial manner, applying critical thinking, commitment, creativity and caring. Required Qualifications

Must be certified through the Surgical Technologist Program: CST at time of hire or obtain certification within 12 months of hire. Surgical tech experience required (would consider highly motivated new grad). Practical knowledge of basic surgical instrumentation and equipment for orthopedic surgical procedures. Demonstrated knowledge of the principles of aseptic technique and sterilization methods. Demonstrated knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients. Preferred Qualifications

SPD experience preferred - Cross training to Sterile Processing. Currently validated CPR skills or BLS certification is preferred. Work Schedule
