Job DescriptionJob Description A day in this role

You start your shift by reviewing the inbound schedule and staging area. A truck backs in; you unload it safely, verify the bill of lading against the packing list, and unpack materials. Any discrepancies? You coordinate with Purchasing and related teams to resolve them. You document everything on the correct purchase orders and route copies to the right people.

Before lunch, you inspect goods, clearly tag any damaged items, and post accurate receipts in the ERP system—always within 24 hours. In the afternoon, you pull parts from storage, help stock inventory, and prepare outbound shipments. You double-check accuracy, package to prevent damage, and complete filing and archiving of shipment paperwork.
