Job Overview The Department of Psychiatry and Psychology, within the Cleveland Clinic Akron General, is recruiting an Adult psychiatrist to provide psychiatric services at our inpatient psychiatric hub hospital. Candidates should be board certified by the ABPN. ECT certification is highly desired and expertise in geriatric psychiatry is welcomed. We seek a dynamic and flexible candidate, who is invested in coming to the Cleveland Clinic to learn, to teach, to investigate, and to advance their career while nurturing current and new service lines and opportunities.
Responsibilities
Provide inpatient psychiatric services at Akron General inpatient psychiatric hub hospital.
Develop two half‑day outpatient psychiatry clinics focusing on bridge clinic follow‑up visits and IOP referrals.
Work with residents and medical students as part of the Adult Psychiatry Residency Program.
Weekend obligatory call is 1 in 8 weekends.
Possess strong academic and research opportunities at Cleveland Clinic, Akron General, and affiliated institutions.
