Project Coordinator – Center for Youth Justice, McCourt School of Public Policy – Georgetown University The Center for Youth Justice (CYJ) expands undergraduate Certificate Programs to shape policy and practice change across the United States. This Project Coordinator supports CYJ’s rapid growth of Certificate Programs and national Fellows Network, ensuring successful design, development, and delivery of training that advances life outcomes for children, youth, and families.

Job Overview The Project Coordinator coordinates day‑to‑day activities that develop, organize, and operate CYJ’s Certificate Programs at Georgetown University, in the field, and online. The position serves as a vital support system to the Deputy Director for Certificate Programs, monitoring project status, ensuring adherence to quality standards, collaborating with subject‑matter experts, and managing multiple interrelated programs nationwide.

Work Interactions This role interacts with all CYJ staff members, fostering collaboration across the organization. The Project Coordinator contributes to CYJ’s mission by improving the lives of youth and families who touch or are at risk of touching the justice system.

Requirements and Qualifications

College degree (Master’s degree preferred)

1–3 years of relevant experience

Strong written and oral communication skills

Highly organized, analytical, and detail‑oriented, capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously

Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and work well in a team setting

Strong interpersonal skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sites, Box, and Zoom

Work Mode Designation This position is designated as

Hybrid , combining on‑campus and remote work.

Pay Range Projected salary range: $44,022.00 – $73,406.80 per year.
