Position Overview
AirMed
is hiring a Fixed Wing Pilot for San Antonio, TX.
Airframe : King Air 200
Schedule : 7 Days On and 7 Days Off
Compensation & Incentives Annual Salary Range : $111,589.14 - $122,748.06
Contract : 12-18 Month Training Contract (required). Depending on certifications.
Incentives :
Annual scaled salary increases up to $156,224.
Sign-On Bonus $15,000 (must complete training & check ride).
Retention Bonus $40,000 (6 month waiting, 3 year program).
Relocation Assistance up to $5,000.
Qualifications
Reside in or willing to relocate to San Antonio, TX.
Hold or able to attain BE-200PL21 and C-90 PIC Qualification.
Single Pilot IFR experience preferred.
Medevac and/or cargo experience preferred.
Unrestricted FAA ATP certificate.
2500 Airplane Total Time Hours.
500 Airplane Multi-Engine Land Hours.
1000 PIC Airplane Hours.
100 Hours in Type.
First-Class Medical Certificate (held or attainable). Maintain privileges.
Valid U.S. Passport.
Preferred Education High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Responsibilities
Compliance with AirMed International General Operating Manual.
Ensure aircraft ready for mission in coordination with Global Operations Center.
Compliance with applicable FARs and OpSpecs.
Disseminate flight operation information through operational control structure.
Professional conduct, sensitive to environment.
Attend meetings, training, check-flights outside normal duty shifts as required.
Perform duties assigned by Director of Operations or Chief Pilot.
Working Conditions
Work in outside weather conditions.
Night, day, overnight shifts as assigned.
De-ice plane, assist with towing, maneuver in hangar, prep plane for flight.
Travel required for training events or maintenance assignment.
Physical Demands
Stand, walk, climb, bend, balance, sit, crouch, kneel, crawl unassisted for extended periods.
Transport self to and from work.
Assist with loading patients, lift/move up to 150 lbs cumulative with assistance.
Vision: close, distant, peripheral, depth perception, adjust focus.
Reporting To
Base Lead Pilot.
Chief Pilot.
Director of Operations.
