Position Summary

The Director of Non-Acute Supply Chain Operations will be responsible for establishing and optimizing the supply chain processes and systems across the Orlando Health post-acute ambulatory healthcare enterprise. This role includes overseeing formulary management, the integration of a new supply chain distribution across all locations and maximizing contract compliance. Through these efforts, the Director will contribute to the efficient, cost-effective distribution of supplies, enhancing strategic alignment with the Orlando Health overall supply chain initiatives.

Responsibilities Standardization, Product Utilization & Cost Management

Develop, implement, and maintain a system-wide standardized formulary aligned with clinical and operational priorities.

Lead quarterly updates and communicate revisions across teams.

Analyze spending and utilization data using analytic tools (Lawson, Epic, Excel) to support product standardization and KPI tracking.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce variation and improve cost-effectiveness.

Prepare quarterly compliance reports and annual cost-savings summaries.

Vendor Management & Integration

Lead category optimization initiatives leveraging group purchasing agreements.

Ensure supplier adherence to negotiated terms through performance tracking mechanisms.

Oversee onboarding for procurement, inventory, and logistics at new locations.

Align facilities with enterprise standards, contracts, and supply chain processes.

Develop and implement customized supply chain solutions tailored to site-specific needs.

Deliver monthly integration progress updates and post-onboarding assessments.

Optimization & Operational Efficiencies

Identify and implement strategies to streamline procurement, reduce waste, and optimize inventory turnover.

Review quarterly inventory turnover metrics and monthly cost-savings reports.

Manage supply chain systems across all post-acute ambulatory facilities.

Drive system enhancements to improve performance, efficiency, and user experience.

Act as project manager for ERP improvements and process optimization initiatives.

Reporting & Strategy

Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to monitor contract compliance, cost savings, and supply chain performance.

Conduct annual strategic reviews to support continuous improvement efforts.

Provide strategic direction and oversight to cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, driving performance, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Qualifications Experience

7+ years of experience in healthcare, preferably the post-acute ambulatory or surgery center sector.

5+ years of leadership or management experience overseeing teams, operations, or projects.

Familiarity with post-acute ambulatory or Ambulatory Surgery Center care settings (e.g., clinics, outpatient centers, or long term care facilities).

Education / Training

Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field required.

Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration or Business strongly preferred.
