Team , a typical day will include: Responsibilities
Manages the logistics, inventory management, and supply chain analytics. Manage the transportation of goods, shipments, and freight forwarding, ensuring customs compliance within the supply chain. Oversee third-party vendors and their performance to ensure quality and service. Develop and implement distribution strategies to optimize business performance and align with company goals. Foster a culture of excellence by leading performance management, driving talent development, ensuring positive employee relations, and enhancing employee engagement and recognition. Make key decisions requiring departmental expertise, leadership, strategic thinking, effective communication, and efficient resource management. Ensure all associates adhere to Good Practice (GxP) regulations by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate documentation, and completing required training. Contribute to overall compliance and continuous improvement within the organization. What you'll bring to Alcon
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +18 yrs; Assoc.+14 yrs; M.S.+7 yrs; PhD+6 yrs) The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English 10 Years of Relevant Experience 6 Years of Demonstrated Leadership Worksite location: Onsite Travel: 5% Relocation: No Sponsorship Assistance: No Preferred
