Base pay range $123,600.00/yr – $162,300.00/yr
Responsibilities
Layout and design of HVAC systems for heavy industrial facilities
Development of design criteria for general comfort heating and cooling, accurate temperature or humidity control, unique pressurization or cleanliness requirements for clean room applications
Conceptual and preliminary design documents including sizing calculations, Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs), Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and general arrangements
Final design documents including specifications, sequences of operation, duct and piping layout and final construction documents associated with chilled water, cooling water, etc.
Coordination with other disciplines and multi‑discipline, highly interactive project teams
Qualifications
Professional Engineering License
At least ten (10) years’ experience in the design of HVAC systems for industrial facilities
Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to the design of HVAC systems
Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Adaptability to work within a fast‑paced team environment with multiple deadlines
Ability to lead a building mechanical team on a project and collaborate with other discipline team members remotely
Software experience in Revit, Carrier HAP, Trane Trace 700 and Trane Trace 3D (preferred)
Experience in the design of plumbing/utility systems (preferred)
