Territory Sales Manager

What You Will Contribute

Call on and sell products, programs and services to national accounts, builders, retail accounts, OEMs, sales managers and salespeople, plumbers and electricians.

Attend trade shows and tabletop events nationally, regionally and locally.

Maintain the Salesforce database of Fluidra customers.

Turn in paperwork on a timely basis (expense reports, monthly reports).

Sell programs and services in a positive and professional manner to enhance sales and customer satisfaction.

Develop sales demand to pull Zodiac products through territory distribution.

Represent the Fluidra Sales Department for specific or unusual accounts.

Work with management to keep them informed about any changes that may affect the territory.

Send literature via fax or mail upon request.

Compile lists of prospective customers in Salesforce for use as sales leads, based on business directories and trade shows.

Travel throughout the assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers, solicit orders, and conduct sales floor or phone conversations.

Quote prices and credit terms, and prepare sales contracts for orders obtained from distribution and national accounts.

Estimate delivery dates to customers based on the firm’s production and delivery schedule.

Prepare reports of business transactions and keep expense records.

What We Seek

3+ years of outside sales experience and/or training.

Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Writing routine reports and correspondence.

Effective speaking before groups of customers or employees.

Mathematical skills: calculating figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

Reasoning: applying common sense to carry out written, oral, or diagram instructions.

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Ability to travel by plane and automobile.

Education High school diploma or equivalent.
