RESPONSIBILITIES:
Scrum Master/Project Manager will own the delivery process for the AI product team - manage sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews
Administer and optimize Jira - maintain boards, refine tickets, ensure accurate sprint tracking, and surface blockers before they become issues
Translate product goals into action - help the team break down complex AI concepts into achievable milestones and deliverables
Monitor sprint velocity and quality - use metrics to forecast timelines, identify bottlenecks, and drive accountability
As a Scrum Master/Project Manager, you will ensure alignment between engineering, data science, and product owner
Facilitate communication - ensure everyone from the Product Owner to developers understands priorities, dependencies, and progress
Champion agile best practices and continuous improvement, while adapting frameworks to fit the realities of AI product development
Keep the team focused and motivated - balancing urgency with sustainability
REQUIREMENTS:
3-6 years of experience as a Scrum Master, Project Manager, or Technical Program Manager
Deep experience with Jira (boards, workflows, reporting, and sprint analytics)
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum principles and hands-on experience applying them in real-world product teams
Exceptional organization, communication, and facilitation skills
Confidence to manage personalities, priorities, and pressure - you can lead without authority
Familiarity with technology, specifically application specific
Preferred:
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar certification
Experience in technology or innovation-focused teams (e.g., software, AI, or analytics)
Ability to bridge technical and business conversations with clarity and confidence
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
