Base pay range $170,000.00/yr - $190,000.00/yr
A leading financial technology organization is seeking a highly skilled Lead DevOps Engineer specializing in ServiceNow to join their Software Engineering team. This senior technical role focuses on driving the design, implementation, and optimization of DevOps practices across cloud and containerized environments. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in cloud engineering, container orchestration, automation, and Level 2 technical support, alongside experience integrating DevOps processes with enterprise platforms like ServiceNow.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure incident management policies and best practices.
Support and optimize applications and services in hybrid-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Manage Kubernetes clusters for deployment, scaling, and maintenance of containerized applications.
Configure and integrate DevOps tools with ServiceNow to automate incident management and IT service workflows.
Serve as a Level 2 subject matter expert, troubleshooting complex software, cloud, and infrastructure issues.
Collaborate closely with development, deployment, and SRE teams to ensure operational alignment.
Implement monitoring and logging solutions to proactively identify and resolve system issues.
Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and operational excellence.
Qualifications
8+ years in DevOps, software engineering, or related roles.
Experience providing Level 2 technical support in enterprise environments.
Demonstrable expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Hands‑on experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Kubernetes), CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Harness, Artifactory), Vault, and Kafka.
Strong experience with ServiceNow modules, including ITSM and ITOM.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
