Cost Manager - Data Center - Charleston SC
Arcadis is hiring a Cost Manager to support the construction of data centers throughout the United States. The role requires on‑site presence every day to coordinate project costs and deliver quality financial controls. Role Accountabilities
Provide support to Project Teams throughout the project lifecycle. Generate project‑level reports with detailed cost analysis and change tracking. Maintain and control budgets from design concept through to project completion. Assist with change management and control of total project costs across all stakeholders. Analyze project funding, perform cost forecasts, trends, and accruals. Develop cost estimates for structural, architectural, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and civil disciplines. Prepare material, labor, and equipment cost estimates for concepts, design development, bids, and change orders. Negotiate potential change orders and complete cost validation and quantity surveying as needed. Monitor and audit compliance and reconcile program controls data with client systems. Present cost analysis results to senior staff and clients. Qualifications & Experience
5+ years of relevant experience on data center construction or complex capital projects. Strong software skills: Primavera P6, Excel, Power BI, and MS Office. Deep understanding of construction project processes. Exceptional written and verbal communication and stakeholder engagement. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent work experience. Commitment to health and safety.
