Vice President of Land Development

Overview The Vice President of Land Development supports multi‑million‑dollar development deals by developing residential lots and land. The role solicits bids, prepares contracts, visits sites weekly, manages contractors, coordinates utilities, and works with local jurisdictions to secure approvals.
Responsibilities
Support multi‑million‑dollar development deals through residential lot and land development.
Solicit, analyze, and meet with contractors for bids on all new development projects.
Prepare and submit contracts for execution.
Visit development sites weekly and manage contractors through all stages of development.
Coordinate utilities and work with dry utility companies to schedule and monitor completion.
Perform final walks with local jurisdictions for street, water/sewer acceptance and bond release.
Qualifications
At least 5 years of land development experience (highly preferred).
A valid driver's license is required.
Compensation Total Compensation:
$180,000 – $240,000 (commensurate with experience) Base Salary:
$140,000 – $150,000 (commensurate with experience)
Additional Compensation
10% annual bonus opportunities
$100 per home closed within your region
$1,000/month auto allowance
$125/month phone allowance
Management Stock
$10,000 based on company performance
$10,000 based on regional performance
$20,000 based on loyalty
