Job Description FOXO seeks a Vice President to lead our Privacy and Data Security Team in Los Angeles, CA. The VP will advise on privacy, cyber security, and data use across FOX’s media businesses, partnering with legal, technology, and business leaders to shape compliance, contract language, policy, training, investigations, incident response, and litigation.

Snapshot of Your Responsibilities

Ongoing compliance with privacy and data security laws and self-governing frameworks.

Draft and negotiate privacy and data security contract language.

Draft privacy policies and other notices.

Conduct internal privacy education and training.

Respond to privacy rights requests.

Support policy, government relations, legislation, and litigation related to privacy and data security.

Partner with FOX colleagues to implement privacy-by-design principles.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Collaborate with co‑CPOs and Information Security Teams on incident response.

What You Will Need

Juris Doctor Degree from an ABA‑accredited U.S. law school.

8+ years of privacy and/or data security experience at a top law firm or as in‑house counsel.

Experience providing pragmatic and actionable advice on privacy and data security obligations.

Strong background in privacy, data security, and technology, preferably in a direct‑to‑consumer context.

Sharp analytical skills, excellent judgment, and strategic thinking.

Ability to translate legal advice into actionable guidance for non‑legal teams.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Leadership and relationship‑management skills.

Team‑oriented attitude and collaboration ability.

Ability to prioritize multiple projects across business units.

Registered In‑House Counsel acceptable if licensed in at least one U.S. state.

Nice to Have But Not a Dealbreaker

Experience working in media.

Admission to the State Bar of California.
