What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Collaborate with business and digital team members to understand business requirements and provide guidance on utilizing the ERP system effectively
Design and implement solutions leveraging S/4HANA to enhance workstream processes in alignment with RTX's operating model
Support the evaluation of options for bolt-on applications and make functional recommendations
Assist data and process teams in data mapping activities and testing
Document common solutions, including configuration documents, process flows, and data policies
What is Required (Qualifications)
Minimum of 8+ years' experience in order to cash (OTC) workstream process or programming, along with a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Strong understanding of finance processes, contract lifecycle, and government or financial reporting requirements
In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP systems, including configuration and reporting capabilities
Experience with agile frameworks and iterative approaches to software development
U.S. citizenship is required due to access restrictions for financial management systems
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience translating business needs into system requirements and process improvements
Background working on large, complex Aerospace and Defense enterprise projects or similarly regulated organizations
Ability to travel up to 25%-50%
