Reservations Supervisor SUMMARY The Reservations Supervisor is responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations for the department’s development of long term objectives; including profitable financial management, inventory management, effective leadership, excellent customer service skills, and supervision of department requirements and standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Support management and leadership, provide excellent customer service and telephone etiquette, and actively aspires to reach defined goals and objectives.

Monitor rooms’ inventory and ensure proper room allocation to maximize potential revenue.

Audit Telephone Reservation Sales System, ensure revenue accuracy and completion of Reservations Agents daily tasks/goals.

Ensure consistent quality assurance evaluations for all Reservations Representatives and provide appropriate feedback to maximize sales potential.

Provide assistance to management with revenue data entry and continuous updates on daily goals, events and statics.

Communicate and develop Reservations Agents to ensure all developed standards are met on a consistent basis.

May be asked to support other departments as need including Front Desk in coverage and/or shifts as part of operational support.

QUALIFICATIONS

College degree preferred

2 years’ experience in a luxury hotel preferred

Exceptional guest recovery skills

Enjoy interacting with people in a fast paced environment

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Must possess a positive attitude

Must be willing to participate in a learning environment

Must integrate company values throughout all interactions

Must be able to quickly adapt to effectively using new software products

Must be dependable and available to work within the resort on weekends, nights and/or holidays based on business demands

Understanding of revenue reports, groups blocks, resume’s and reports, as well as knowledge in commissions is preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to sit at a desk for up to 6 hours per day. Walking and standing are required the rest of the working day. Length of time of these tasks may vary from day to day and task to task. Must be able to exert well-paced ability to reach other departments of the hotel on a timely basis. Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. occasionally. Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity. Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and subordinates; use of these senses will occur on a constant basis.

The pay scale for Reservations Supervisor is $26 - $28 per hour.
