Responsibilities Works with the Baptist health user community in the evaluation, selection, design, tailoring, testing, and implementation of clinical and business systems. Provides ongoing support for problem resolution, application modifications, and new releases. Works independently on projects of simple to minimal complexity. For major or complex projects, works with the team and under general supervision. Assists users with basic troubleshooting and guides users in the use of healthcare systems. After orientation, will begin to specialize in a particular Baptist Health system and provide on-call coverage for a production system on a scheduled basis.
Qualifications Demonstrates basic computer/software skills and aptitude for enhancing those skills in healthcare systems/modules. Ability to work with minimal direction on assigned projects and handle multiple priorities. Prefer a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, but will accept 3 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree. Epic certification is preferred; if required, certification must be obtained within 6 months post-hire and remaining current as a condition of continued employment. All certifications required for this position must be current.
Benefits Authorized 80.00 bi-weekly hours.
