Job Description
Performs complex accounting functions, including journal entries for grant reconciliation and mid‑cycle budget modifications.
Manages financial record keeping, reporting, and other accounting functions for the CPT Division.
Collaborates with the fiscal team and clinic personnel to compile financial data, reports, PCARD reconciliations, and recommends purchasing policies, procedures, and control systems.
Performs Level 2 Effort Certification for the CPT Division.
Establishes operational goals and objectives that align with the overall strategic plan and participates in planning and administration of divisional and project activities.
Provides grant and contract management support for CPT programs covering three sites: Jacksonville, Daytona, and Tallahassee.
Enters new grants into the UFIRST system for processing and approval, runs periodic reports, and monitors transactions for completion and reconciliation.
Interprets sponsor’s guidelines for budgeting and spending of grants and contracts.
Compiles and analyzes historical, anticipated revenue, and expense data for projections, and assists in creating budgets for new grants and contracts using multiple platforms and spreadsheet reports.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Expected Salary $70,000 – $79,000 (depending on education and experience)
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
2–5 years of experience in financial and compliance functions for state and federal contracts and grants.
Knowledge of commonly used accounting concepts, practices, and procedures.
Knowledge of accounting systems, Adobe Pro (intermediate level), and Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook intermediate level).
Additional Requirements
Must submit cover letter, resume/CV, and three references.
Level II background check required.
No health assessment required.
