Senior Accountant & Operations Analyst

The Senior Accounting and Operations Analyst is responsible for ensuring accurate revenue and GL accounting, managing purchasing and inventory workflows, and maintaining reliable sales tracking and reporting. The role requires close coordination with cross‑functional teams—including field operations, customer service, and leadership—to ensure data integrity, timely reporting, and smooth integration of new acquisitions.
Essential Functions:
Revenue Accounting & Accounts Receivable
Transfer and reconcile revenue data between ServiceTitan and Sage accounting systems
Monitor and reconcile accounts receivable balances across platforms and general ledger accounts
Oversee daily cash deposit reconciliation and ensure accurate recording
Track and manage collections activity, providing oversight and follow‑up as needed
General Ledger (GL) Accounting Functions
Record daily banking transactions and cash movements in the GL
Assist with month‑end close procedures, including journal entries and account reconciliations
Support the preparation of monthly financial statements and conduct related research
Participate in the annual financial statement audit process
Record and reconcile payroll transactions in the GL
Manage accounts payable processing and ensure timely vendor payments
Record month end inventory and adjustments in the GL
Purchasing & Inventory Management
Facilitate procurement activities, vendor coordination, and freight logistics
Monitor inventory levels and assist with month‑end reconciliation
Support rebate tracking and ensure compliance with purchasing procedures
Maintain daily sales tracking systems and distribute performance reports to stakeholders
Support integration efforts for newly acquired businesses, including system onboarding and process alignment
Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Abilities:
Experience working in ERP systems such as MS Dynamics or Business Central, Sage, etc.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Experience with account reconciliations.
Advanced Excel user.
Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
Experience with inventory and purchasing workflows.
Ability to identify needs and implement a plan for driving improvement.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects with short turnaround times and capable of shifting priorities.
Ability to develop and maintain a positive working relationship with others.
Detail oriented, ability to multi.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
This job operates primarily in an office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, etc.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to regularly lift 25 pounds.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
3+ years of experience in accounting or operations, ideally within a service or manufacturing environment.
3-5 years' experience working with General Ledger, A/R and A/P Sub‑Ledgers.
Previous experience working with multiple entities.
