Position Summary The Inside Sales District Manager is responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a high‑performing telesales team to achieve and exceed monthly and annual revenue and margin targets. This role combines hands‑on sales leadership with strategic execution and cross‑functional collaboration to drive business growth and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Position Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of Inside Sales Representatives to achieve revenue, margin, and productivity goals.
Provide consistent coaching, performance feedback, and professional development to maximize individual and team results.
Train team members on consultative selling techniques to identify customer needs and recommend tailored solutions.
Motivate and inspire the team through effective leadership, recognition, and performance management strategies.
Ensure adherence to key performance metrics, including sales quota attainment, call activity, response times, call quality, and system usage.
Drive product penetration and increase average order value by targeting buildable accounts with strategic selling efforts.
Collaborate with Marketing to execute aligned email and social media campaigns that drive demand and lead generation.
Maintain and grow a personal book of business; conduct outbound sales activities as needed.
Work closely with Field Sales Management and internal partners to resolve customer issues and ensure account alignment.
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
2–5 years of experience in sales, customer service, or training; B2B outbound telesales experience preferred.
Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage, coach, and develop high‑performing teams.
Strong business acumen with analytical skills to identify trends and make strategic decisions.
Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and customer‑focused demeanor.
Effective problem‑solving and decision‑making skills in fast‑paced environments.
Ability to handle escalated customer concerns with empathy and professionalism.
