Job Summary Cardiovascular Technologist, Part-time at UCSF Health. Function as a member of the procedural team by assisting in pre-, intra-, and post-procedural care of patients undergoing Electrophysiology/Cardiac Catheterization, structural heart, and/or vascular procedures.

Responsibilities

Assist in pre-, intra-, and post-procedural care of patients.

Perform radiological duties during procedures and troubleshoot as required.

Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to produce images.

Maintain radiation safety protocols and train staff on safety procedures.

Assist Cardiovascular Technologist IV with equipment maintenance and supply stock.

Scrub-in for surgical portions and circulate within procedure room to organize non-sterile areas.

Document procedures on GE Mac/Cardio lab systems.

Participate in call rotation and orient/train new hires.

Work safely in acute care setting and interact with anesthesia and other departments.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years’ radiologic technician experience in cardiac cath/EP labs or OR/Hybrid OR/IR lab.

California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license.

American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.

California State Fluoroscopy Permit.

American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certification.

Flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations.

Flexibility in scheduling with ability to rotate shifts, weekends, holidays.

Willingness to participate in call rotation.

Preferred Qualifications

RCIS certification.

ARRT VI or ARRT CI certification.

Experience with GE Maclab/Cardiolab.

Hybrid OR experience.

Experience with Philips and/or Siemens fluoroscopy equipment.

Proficiency in personal computer applications.

Salary Hourly Rate: $75.68 - $94.10.
