Position Description As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data solutions using Microsoft Fabric. You’ll collaborate closely with analysts and stakeholders to ensure our data infrastructure is reliable, scalable, and efficient.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with analysts to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.

Design and implement robust data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric.

Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows to ensure smooth operation.

Optimize data storage and retrieval for performance and scalability.

Integrate various Fabric services to streamline end-to-end data processes.

Develop Python scripts for data cleaning, transformation, and automation.

Support implementation of machine learning models and algorithms for advanced analytics.

Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across all reporting solutions.

Maintain comprehensive documentation for data models, configurations, and processes.

Stay current with the latest developments in Microsoft Fabric and related technologies.

Position Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

5+ years of experience in data engineering with Azure Data Factory.

1+ years of enterprise experience with Microsoft Fabric.

Hands‑on experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse.

Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing.

Proficiency in SQL and modern database technologies.

Experience with cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure.

Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI.

Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Certifications Required

DP-900: Microsoft Azure Data Fundamentals

DP-700: Microsoft Certified: Fabric Data Engineer Associate

DP-600: Implementing Analytics Solutions Using Microsoft Fabric

Preferred

Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP.

Solid understanding of ETL/ELT, data modeling, data quality, and normalization.

Proficiency in Python or other modern programming languages, with advanced SQL skills.

Familiarity with big data technologies such as Spark (Fabric Runtime).

Exposure to machine learning and data analytics workflows.

Certifications Preferred: DP-203: Data Engineering on Microsoft Azure, AZ-305: Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions.
