Overview
The Dynamics Application Specialist is a key role within the Corporate IT Department. Positioned at a individual contributor level, this role leads by technical expertise, assists end-users and influences decision‑making regarding the usage of Dynamics. This role collaborates closely with end-users, Site Leadership, Project Managers, Operational Support teams, and external vendors to drive a high‑quality, stable, and secure ERP solution.
The Dynamics F&O Application Specialist acts as the System Administrator and is tasked with supporting end-users by addressing issues and requests within Dynamics, managing user access and permissions, and coordinating with external consultants and developers for additional support and customizations. The role involves staying current with new features and communicating updates, overseeing upgrade testing, and assisting with the implementation and education of Microsoft Dynamics for Finance and Operations. Collaboration with internal teams is essential for developing solutions using Microsoft Cloud technologies such as SharePoint, Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps, as well as integrating with other internal applications. Ensuring compliance with SOX and other regulations, participating in internal and external audits, and documenting changes within the helpdesk system are also key responsibilities.

Experience in managing vendor relationships and contractor partnerships
Impacts the achievement of operational, project or service objectives
Works independently with minimal guidance
Communicates complex and technical information with influence across diverse stakeholders
Anticipates business needs and actively proposes improvements
Acts as a trusted advisor across technical and business teams
Education, Knowledge, and Experience
Bachelor’s or Associates degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field
4+ years of Experience with Dynamics D365 or AX 2012 in a manufacturing environment
Demonstrated ability to lead ERP initiatives
In‑depth knowledge of Dynamics \ AX2012 technologies
Strong stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration skills
Fluent in English, both written and verbal
Experience in multi‑national, multicultural, and matrixed environments is preferred
