The
Regional Director of Operations
oversees the operations and performance of multiple care centers across South Florida, focusing on operational efficiency, patient experience, value‑based care, and profitability. This role ensures alignment with risk‑based contracts while managing strategic, clinical, and financial performance objectives across the region. The position reports directly to the COO.
Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee performance and operational efficiency across multiple care centers in South Florida.
Manage P&L statements and drive financial performance.
Ensure high‑quality patient care and an exceptional patient experience.
Lead operational leaders and collaborate with healthcare teams to meet clinical goals.
Coordinate regional operational strategies to support risk‑based and value‑based care.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and internal standards.
Partner with senior leadership on long‑term strategic planning.
Use data to monitor, analyze, and improve performance outcomes.
Supervisory Responsibilities This position has supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications / Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field required; Master’s preferred.
Minimum 8 years of experience in managed care or healthcare operations, including senior leadership and multi‑site management.
Strong knowledge of risk‑based reimbursement and value‑based care.
Proven experience managing P&Ls and improving healthcare facility performance.
Proficiency with EMR systems and healthcare technologies.
Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Familiarity with the South Florida healthcare market preferred.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Working Conditions General office working conditions.
Travel Local travel between care centers may be required.
