Regional Director
is a senior leadership role responsible for the operational performance, strategic execution, and leadership of multiple urgent care centers across a designated region. This role directly supervises
Regional Managers
and provides oversight for clinic operations, ensuring quality patient care, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and alignment with organizational goals.
Responsibilities Leadership & Oversight
Lead and support a team of Regional Managers to ensure high performance, engagement, and accountability.
Foster a culture of clinical excellence, patient satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
Serve as the liaison between regional management and executive leadership.
Operational Management
Ensure that urgent care centers operate efficiently and in accordance with company standards.
Oversee implementation of standardized processes, policies, and procedures across clinics.
Collaborate with clinical leadership to ensure appropriate staffing, training, and care delivery.
Strategic Planning & Execution
Participate in strategic planning initiatives and drive regional execution of key performance metrics (KPI).
Oversee impactful projects, ensuring key deliverables are met by both direct reports and cross-functional partners, while staying on task and budget.
Identify growth opportunities including new clinic openings, service expansion, or market entry.
Financial Oversight
Monitor regional budgets, P&Ls, and cost controls in collaboration with finance.
Support regional managers in achieving financial targets, including revenue, labor costs, and operational efficiency.
Compliance & Quality
Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local healthcare regulations and company compliance standards.
Support quality improvement initiatives, incident reporting, and audit readiness.
Communication & Collaboration
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including clinical leaders, HR, IT, and marketing.
Represent the region in executive meetings and contribute to enterprise-level decision-making.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Minimum 5-7 years of multi-site healthcare management experience; urgent care, outpatient, or ambulatory care experience strongly preferred.
Demonstrated success in leading high-performing teams and managing through Regional Managers or multi-level leadership.
Strong knowledge of healthcare operations, compliance, and clinical workflows.
Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to travel regularly within the region.

The expected compensation range for this position is $80,000 to $140,000 based upon the candidate’s knowledge, skills, and experience.
