Responsibilities

Support multi‑million dollar automated system programs from engineering definition to production, deployment, and post‑sales support.

Collaborate with Program & Project Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Production Shipping & Logistics, Installation, and other functional groups.

Manage implementation of product strategy, customer priorities, and engineering activities, including Bill of Materials and ERP integration.

Maintain hardware and software baseline configurations and review issue lists to prioritize Hardware Problem Reports, Hardware Change Requests, Software Bugs, and Pull Requests.

Coordinate hardware and software changes with customer engineering groups via Change‑Control procedures and oversee rollout into production environments.

Document engineering change requests, update spares lists, user manuals, and program documentation.

Standardize project configurations using Product Lifecycle Management tools and update Bill of Materials in Windchill and Oracle.

Conduct periodic site visits (up to 25% travel) for quality checks and configuration issue documentation.

Use MS Office Project, Word, Excel, AutoCAD, and Oracle Business Suite to accomplish responsibilities.

Ensure adherence to customer mechanical and electrical engineering specifications.

Communicate project status, risks, challenges, and improvement opportunities to program teams and stakeholders.

Promote Intralox best practices, processes, and culture.

Requirements

B.S. in Engineering or related field with 3+ years of experience in material handling industry or product development.

Effective verbal and written communication.

Technical aptitude with industrial machine design, sensors & actuators, and industrial controls logic.

Experience with CAD software and Microsoft Office suite.

Problem‑solving mindset, detailed orientation, and strong organizational skills.

Self‑managed team player capable of up to 25% travel and occasional weekend/holiday work.

Position based out of Hanover, Maryland.

Preferred Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Experience in the Material Handling Industry.

Experience with PLM (Windchill), ERP (Oracle), and Microsoft Project.

Benefits & Compensation Intralox offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, disability, paid time off, 401(k), flexible spending account, life and AD&D insurance, long‑term care, tuition reimbursement, and additional voluntary benefits. Salary range is $73,400 to $153,100, in addition to potential commissions, discretionary incentives, or production incentives.
