Global Employer Services-Expatriate Tax Experienced Senior Associate
BDO USA is hiring a Senior Associate to lead expatriate tax compliance, planning, and reporting for global clients.
Responsibilities
Conduct research and prepare tax returns, tax equalizations, and assignment cost projections.
Gather client information, perform detailed reviews, and identify potential tax risks.
Participate in tax planning, develop standard tax methods, and document tax positions.
Represent clients before tax authorities on contested issues.
Apply expatriate tax compliance, planning, and global implications.
Utilize tax-related software and maintain tax accrual workpapers.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
Advanced degree in Accounting or Tax preferred.
Three to five years of experience in individual income tax preparation and expatriate tax.
Prior experience preparing individual income tax returns and VITA participation.
Prior experience in a client service environment and international work experience preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word; experience with Go Systems and tax research databases.
Enrolled Agent or CPA preferred.
Strong communication, customer service, and confidentiality skills.
Compensation National Range: $74,550 - $147,000
Maryland Range: $74,550 - $147,000
NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $74,550 - $147,000
Washington DC Range: $74,550 - $147,000
