Overview

York County Community Action Corporation is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The CFO is a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing the financial strategy, operations, and integrity of the organization, in alignment with the agency’s mission. Responsibilities

The CFO will lead the Fiscal Department, ensuring fiscal accountability, compliance with grant and contract requirements, and financial reporting. The CFO will work closely with the Board Treasurer and support the Board Finance Committee, keeping the CEO and Board informed about financial matters and system performance. As a key advisor to the CEO, the CFO may act on the CEO’s behalf and lead the organization when the CEO is unavailable. The CFO will also represent YCCAC in financial matters with auditors, funders, service providers, and the community. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field. • At least ten years’ experience in a senior financial management position; five years of supervisory experience. • Strong knowledge of fund accounting, grant management, and compliance. • Proven ability to communicate complex financial information to non‑financial stakeholders. • Skilled in financial software systems, data analytics tools, forecasting, spreadsheets, and word processing software. • Experience working in a Federally Qualified Health Center, Community Action Agency and/or a federally and state funded non‑profit organization is strongly desired.
