Job Description AECOM is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Air Permitting Consultant to join our Air Quality Practice within AECOM's Environment Business Line. This hybrid role can be based out of AECOM's Houston, Austin, Chicago, Denver or Fort Collins offices.
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated professional with strong communication and leadership skills who is excited to grow client relationships, expand service offerings, and help drive the strategic growth of our air quality practice.
Lead client engagement for air quality projects, developing and maintaining strong, trusted relationships with clients in the oil & gas, chemical, and industrial sectors.
Drive growth by identifying new opportunities, expanding existing accounts, and supporting business development strategies and proposal efforts.
Manage and oversee air permitting and compliance projects, including PSD and Title V permitting, with a focus on client service, quality assurance, and strategic direction.
Provide high-level guidance and mentorship to project teams, supporting staff development and team expansion.

Qualifications
B.S. Degree in science, chemistry, engineering, environmental, or a related field.
8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education in air quality permitting or compliance in an oil & gas/chemical, environmental consulting and an industrial related field.
Valid U.S. driver’s license is required for this role.
US Citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications
10+ years in air quality permitting or compliance in an oil & gas/chemical & industrial related field.
Prior experience in the consulting industry is highly desired.
Proven success in business development and strategic account growth.
Strong project management skills including managing budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
Background in refining, chemical production, and/or oil & gas air permitting.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to inspire and lead teams.

Salary Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $130,000 to $175,000.
