Windows Active Directory Engineer – Warren, NJ (3 days hybrid)
We are seeking a Senior SME with Global Customer Support experience in Windows / Active Directory technologies. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 10 + years of experience managing large data‑center technologies and possesses strong communication skills, with willingness to work in US business hours. Key Responsibilities
Windows Server provisioning and OS upgrades. Windows Server troubleshooting and Remote Desktop Services (RDS) support. Active Directory and Group Policy management, including upgrade and migration. Migration of Certificate Authority roles and certificates. WSUS and Microsoft Intune for server patching. Knowledge of VMware vCenter and virtual machines; troubleshooting using MS‑Cluster. Automating day‑to‑day tasks using PowerShell. Deploying and testing Windows operating systems, including patch updates and performance tuning. Managing user accounts, permissions, and access rights. Managing DNS, DHCP, IIS, FTP, and Certificate Services. Managing system registry changes, Group Policy Objects, and security configuration. Monitoring servers using SCOM/SCCM and scheduling tasks. Ensuring server patching and post‑check compliance. Required Qualifications
10 + years of experience in Windows Server administration (2012–2022). Excellent knowledge of Active Directory upgrades, migrations, and Group Policy. Hands‑on experience with RDS and Terminal Services. Experience automating tasks with PowerShell. Knowledge of Azure Active Directory, AD Sync, etc. Strong knowledge of Windows cluster setup and troubleshooting. Experience managing Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022 performance issues. Experience setting up Windows cluster and troubleshooting. Experience with SCOM/SCCM for server monitoring and scheduling. Experience managing WSUS‑based patching and troubleshooting patch failures. Strong communication skills (verbal and written). Employment Details
