Manager, Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
Gogo is seeking a Manager, Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable to join the Finance organization. The role involves overseeing daily transactions, managing collections, and ensuring vendor payments are processed accurately and timely.

Responsibilities
Oversee daily accounts receivable transactions, general ledger entries, and reconciliations.
Develop, pursue, and implement collection strategies.
Monitor performance indicators, highlight trends, and analyze causes of unexpected variances.
Oversee weekly accounts payable disbursements managed by the Supervisor, Account Support AP.
Identify and resolve problems and inconsistencies and suggest appropriate corrective procedures; elevate issues when necessary.
Manage, train, develop, and motivate a team of specialists.
Direct the monthly close for the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions, including preparing, entering, and maintaining support for journal entries and account reconciliations.
Assist with the implementation of new software.
Train new staff on software and procedures.
Participate in quarterly and annual SOX audits.
Establish accounting policies and procedures aligned with the Company’s goals.
Design and run monthly and quarterly financial reports.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related work experience.
4-7 years of experience in AR and/or AP.
2-3 years of experience managing, coaching, and developing a team.
Required Skills, Talents & Experience
ERP systems experience; Microsoft Business Central is a plus.
Accounts payable systems experience; Esker is a plus.
Organized and able to lead a team while managing deadlines.
Effective problem solving; methodical, detail-oriented, and analytical approach to issue resolution.
Strong attention to detail with analytical, organizational, and research abilities.
Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication and messaging skills.
Experience evaluating and streamlining processes and systems, developing and implementing policies and procedures to achieve operational efficiencies.
Preferred Skills, Talents, & Experience
Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Pay and Incentives Base pay: $80,000 - $100,000 USD annually.
Target annual short-term incentive: Bonus Plan at 10% of Annualized Base Pay.
Eligible for Incentive Stock Program: Yes.
