Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Lead Quality Assurance Initiatives:
Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for recurring quality issues, while overseeing non‑conformance management and resolution.
Develop and Maintain Quality Systems:
Create and update quality control plans, inspection procedures, and process audits in compliance with ISO 9001 standards; coordinate calibration programs and ensure traceability of measurement equipment.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with design, production, and supply chain teams to define critical quality checkpoints and ensure product conformity throughout the lifecycle.
Data‑Driven Improvement:
Analyze quality data and KPIs to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement; support Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Audit, Training, and Compliance:
Participate in internal, customer, and regulatory audits; provide training on quality standards and best practices; ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering or a related technical field.
3–5 years of experience in a quality engineering role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of quality systems (ISO 9001), statistical process control (SPC), and root cause analysis tools (5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA).
Experience with non‑destructive testing (NDT) and metrology.
Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems is a plus.
Knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
ASQ certification (CQE, CQA) is desirable.
