What We’re Looking For Barge Design Solutions

is currently seeking a Project Architect to support projects, document development, and design. The role will also lead multiple small projects with limited complex features and serve as a technical lead on parts of larger conventional projects.

Responsibilities

Assist in project scope and budget development and project design.

Support PMs with technical leadership on conventional projects.

Interpret and develop designs for complex planning.

Coordinate construction documents with structural, mechanical, civil, and electrical areas.

Consult with local and federal jurisdictions on regulations and building codes.

Write and review Architect Intern specifications, documents, drawings, etc. to produce deliverables.

Design, investigate, and recommend building systems and materials.

Participate in client meetings as appropriate.

Conduct on-site visits to monitor project progress.

Perform other duties as requested.

Supervision

Direct Intern Architects and Designers in preparing project plans.

Technical lead on conventional projects.

Expectations

Timeliness and quality of technical team work and budget adherence.

Utilization rates align with goal.

Individual sales goals for specific clients or primarily single discipline opportunities.

Develop and implement a plan to meet this sales goal.

Education & Experience Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program.

4–8 years of architectural experience and Architect registration.

Healthcare experience required.

Apply practical knowledge to resolve issues.

Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and essential office software.

Keep informed of new methods and developments affecting the organization.

Walk, sit, and stand. Occasionally reach with hands, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Occasionally climb 25–30 feet.

Occasionally lift up to 40 lbs. Visual acuity sufficient for design work.

Ability to adapt quickly and respond effectively to project issues.
