Position Summary We are seeking a detail‑oriented Financial Analyst to join our accounting team and report to the Accounting Manager. This full‑time, in‑office position in Lake Oswego, OR supports the accounting department with subcontractor pre‑qualification financial reviews, internal and external financial reporting, and execution of financial statement audit(s). The ideal candidate is collaborative, analytical, and team‑focused.
Essential Responsibilities
Complete financial prequalification reviews for subcontractors.
Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual internal and external reporting.
Lead and execute the financial statement audit process for a stand‑alone entity.
Analyze financial data and provide forecasting support.
Complete advanced financial or technical accounting analysis and post entries to the general ledger.
Provide ad‑hoc reports as needed and support departmental projects, data requests, and compliance requirements.
Deliver outstanding service through timely communication with internal and external customers.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or an equivalent degree.
At least three years of prior work experience; experience with financial reporting/data analysis and public accounting experience preferred (Big 4 or regional public accounting firm).
Prior experience within the construction industry also preferred.
Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office 365; strong MS Excel skills.
Working knowledge of JD Edwards or similar ERP platform preferred.
Experience preparing and reviewing GAAP compliant financial statements including audits and reviews.
Excellent written and oral communication skills and strong interpersonal relationships.
Detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
Physical And Mental Requirements
Combination of standing, walking, and sitting; climb stairs 5% of day.
Constant use of hands/fingers for keyboard/computer use.
Visual and hearing acuity sufficient for day‑to‑day tasks.
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and maintain minimal bending/twisting.
Independent judgment, organization and critical thinking skills to accomplish desired results.
Salary Range $90,000 – $110,000
