Quality Data Analyst

Ashtabula Regional Medical Center Under the direction of the Vice President, the Quality Data Abstractor is responsible for data abstraction, analysis, reporting and improvement for assigned quality measures under CMS, Joint Commission, and internal quality initiatives. The abstractor develops, collects, and validates metrics to support provider, staff, and process quality oversight. Managed information will be reported at clinical service committees and through the provider credentialing process and to the Board of Trustees to help ensure medical staff quality for our patients. Additional responsibilities include staff and provider education, detailed medical record review, and other duties as required. Must possess good computer skills and ability to navigate and extract information from Medical Record. Required professional skills include data entry into and retrieval from various information systems and ability to effectively interface with physicians and staff. Minimum of two years of healthcare data management, nursing, or medical records experience. State of Ohio RN, LPN, or RHIT not required but preferred. Seniority level
