Job Overview E-Fish System Analyst

– home-based, working from Ukraine. The position supports the National Fisheries Programme and contributes to the FAO Ukraine Rapid Response Plan for agriculture and fisheries.

Responsibilities

Design and develop new functional solutions and update existing ones for the E-Fish module.

Optimize database architecture and perform architectural updates.

Process system failures promptly and assess criticality of system errors.

Maintain and update technical documentation for the E-Fish module.

Provide recommendations for corrections and improvements on technical documentation.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in programming, systems analysis, database management, business analysis or related field.

3 years of relevant experience in business analysis, software development, database management and IT infrastructure.

Experience working with the Platform of Registers and public service digitization projects.

Intermediate knowledge of English (level B). Working knowledge of Russian and Ukrainian.

National of Ukraine or resident with a valid work permit.

Technical/Functional Skills

Knowledge of regulatory legal acts governing the Unified State Electronic Fisheries Management System.

Skills in working with information system databases and managing access rights.

Strong organization & control processes, including managing error correction tasks.

Technology stack: OpenShift (OKD), Kubernetes, Docker, PostgreSQL, Camunda, Form.io, Redash, Node.js, Groovy, Grafana, Kibana, Elasticsearch, Kafka, Gerrit, Swagger, Postman, Keycloak, Ceph, Kong, Velero.
