Lead Data Scientist
Our client is seeking a Lead Data Scientist to drive advanced analytics initiatives, guide data strategy, and deliver insights that support key business decisions. This role will provide technical leadership across multiple projects, mentor data science team members, and collaborate closely with senior executives to turn complex data into actionable intelligence.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related STEM field (Master’s preferred) 7+ years of professional experience
in data science Experience in
healthcare, medical informatics, or EHR/revenue cycle data management
preferred Deep understanding of
machine learning algorithms
(clustering, regression, decision trees, neural networks, etc.) Strong knowledge of
statistical analysis , data modeling, and hypothesis testing Proficiency with
SQL, Python, R , and other analytical tools Advanced understanding of the
data science project lifecycle
and model evaluation techniques Excellent
storytelling, communication, and presentation skills
to translate technical insights into business impact Demonstrated ability to
manage multiple priorities
and projects with minimal supervision
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end data science projects that impact strategic business outcomes Develop and deploy
custom models and algorithms
to analyze data and improve operations Conduct
advanced analytics and predictive modeling
to deliver actionable insights Communicate complex findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences, including executive leadership Mentor junior data scientists and guide the broader analytics team in best practices Evaluate and implement emerging tools, technologies, and vendors to advance data science capabilities Maintain and monitor performance of existing models, ensuring accuracy and reliability Support data governance and best practices for data quality, integrity, and security
