The Data Solutions (DS) Practice Area within the Precision Product Solutions (PS) Business Unit focuses on the development and commercialization of industry leading data assets for biopharmaceutical customers that help integrate and enrich disparate Payer, Provider, HCP and Patient data sources as well as engineer sophisticated data management and analytic systems leveraging Precision’s core data assets.
The VP, Data Solution (DS) Client Partner, is a key leadership position within the DS Practice Area and will report to the SVP, Data Solutions (DS). The VP is responsible for applying subject master expertise to the development and sales of innovative and industry-leading resources that address client issues related to the integration of disparate data sources allowing for 360 degree customer insights. The VP, Data Solutions Client Partner, is accountable for developing inline and new revenue opportunities across a target list of life science companies. The VP will work closely with the SVP, Data Solutions and the Product Teams to design a product roadmap while working collaboratively with business partners across Precision AQ.
Essential functions of the job include:
Leadership & Development

Utilize Situational Leadership to maximize relationships and outcomes during internal interactions with Product Solutions and Precision AQ partners
Develop Trusted Partner relationships with key clients enabling delivery of strategic account objectives and business development goals
Ownership and active management of top-line sales targets for List of Inline Accounts
Develop key account strategy and plans that enable the growth of business across products, platforms, managed services and data management
Communicate product value proposition to existing and potential clients and internal teams as part of a coordinating business development strategy
Partner with SVP, Data Solutions, to drive better coordination with Product Solutions Product Teams along with Precision AQ marketing and Lead Gen teams
Responsible for maintaining and surpassing sales forecasts for inline account targets
Active Management of strategic accounts via account planning and oversight of project delivery, product configuration and managed service continuity
Accountable for assigned Data Solutions customer implementations in partnership with the Customer Success team
Build and maintain key relationships with senior customer leadership across Brand, Data, Analytics, Operations and IT and become the trusted advisor to senior client executives.
Serve as the thought partner for the client sponsors on subject matter expertise (e.g., Market Access, Field Sales, Patient Services, Commercial Operations) and technical expertise (CRM, CDW, MDM, Cloud Native Solutions, Enterprise Reporting)
Contribute to customer-driven focus within Product Roadmap to ensure successful uptake
Collaborate with strategic clients to design, build, launch and assess Minimum Viable Products (MVP). Synthesize MVP findings into actionable insights for Product development
Partner with Data Solutions colleagues to manage key vendor relationships to better deliver client managed services, system implementations and MVP development
Partner with SVP, Data Solutions on go-to-market strategies including pricing, promotion and marketing
Qualifications
Bachelor degree required. Masters or MBA, preferred. Experience in pharmaceutical marketing, sales operations, IT, insights and analytic functions and/or with analytic tools preferred
Other Requirements
Travel up to 30%
15+ years of work experience in a data driven professional service firm servicing the pharma (life sciences) industry with customer leadership roles or experience at a pharmaceutical manufacturer with Sales Ops, Analytics or IT leadership responsibilities
Understanding of pharmaceutical/biotech business, marketing, financial and statistical analysis
Knowledge and experience with pharmaceutical commercial sales operations and related capabilities (e.g., CDW, MDM, CRM, Reporting)
Comprehensive understanding of all parties in pharma commercialization and how they interact
Demonstrated success with defining and delivering data driven solutions for pharmaceutical commercial organizations
Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
Experience in managing and developing team capabilities and culture
Experience in influencing without authority and with driving executive level decision-making in a matrix environment
Benefits & Compensation Role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, health insurance, retirement savings benefits, life insurance and disability benefits, parental leave, and paid time off for sick leave and vacation, among other benefits.
Compensation range: $196,000 - $275,000 USD.
