Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Experienced and Senior Level Software Engineers. The Boeing AI organization provides innovative AI technologies that enable the development of future aerospace solutions while improving the cycle time, cost, quality and performance of existing Boeing products and services. Employees work in a dynamic and distributed environment where the initiative and contribution of each team member is critical to success. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a distributed (and international) team. The Boeing AI Applications and Innovations team is located in Tukwila, Washington.
Position Responsibilities
Provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity derived from the aircraft product lifecycle.
Apply the latest machine learning and artificial intelligence technology from across industries, academia, and government.
Build, train and productionize cutting-edge ML models.
Develop data engineering pipelines for large aerospace data sets.
Implement software development best practices to enable product deployment.
Basic Qualifications (Required)
3+ years of experience with C, C++, C#, Python, Java, or Ada.
3+ years of experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) technologies, including the ability to integrate AI-driven insights into data architecture and analytics processes.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired)
5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Bachelor of Science degree in an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
Proven experience with performing verification and validation for AI and machine learning algorithms.
Experience with software development best practices.
Strong technical skills and effective written and verbal communication skills.
Desire to collaborate and innovate in an Agile software development environment.
Experience with mobile application development (Android/iOS).
Travel 10% of the time.
